Chanting has proven to create many incredible benefits in both our physiological and psychological state and has long been combined with yogic practices.

These mantras (vedic hymns) carry specific vibrations, which, when practiced in a very precise manner improve physical, mental and emotional health while bringing us into the present moment.

During these 4 weeks we will be covering…

An Overview and History
Chanting and it’s Benefits
Rules of Sanskrit Pronunciation
Understanding Roman transliteration of Devanagari
Chanting as a Pranayama
Shanti Mantras or “Peace Mantras
Stotras, Mantras, and Japa. What and why?
Daily Stotras
Personal feedback for chants that we study weekly
and of course, we will chant many shlokas together

By the end of the four weeks, you should have a good foundation for your personal practice.

We will chant for the well being of each other, our earth, and to the divine.

To share chanting is to share an experience of silence through listening, a process of healing, and a link with nature, the deeper self, and the divine. ~ T K V Desikachar

The classes will be 65 USD for all 8 classes. (I have tried to make the price as accessible to everyone as possible).
