On the darkest night of the year, the 14th night of the lunar month & the night before the new moon (March 1) we celebrate the Grace of Shiva, the one who is considered the Adi yogi, or the first yogi. Maha Shivratri which means “the Great Night of Shiva” and it is said that, “the planetary positions on this night are such that there is a powerful natural upsurge of energy in the human system. It is considered as a sacred day for physical and spiritual growth. To prepare for this powerful night we will be chanting these two Stotras over the 4 weeks.
śivamānasa pōjā – 3 classes ~ Monday / Feb, 7, 14, 21
liṅgāṣṭakam – 3 classes ~ Saturday, Sunday, Monday / February 26, 27 & 28
4:30pm-5:30pm CET
We end the 4 weeks with a discussion on what practices can be followed on Maha Shivratri, March 1st. I am honored to share the teachings of my teachers with you. 💙🔱
